Yusuke Nakamura was born and raised in Guam. He graduated from Father Duenas Memorial High School in Guam in 1994 and being fully bilingual (English / Japanese) immediately started working in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. In 2003, Yusuke moved to Hawaii and transitioned from the Hospitality industry to Financial and Insurance industry by obtaining his Life, Health and Property and Casualty Insurance licenses and a designation as FSS from the American College. His primary focus is helping the local Japanese community with their insurance needs and financial planning.

Yusuke was an avid soccer player through high school and was a professional windsurfer. Always close to the ocean, he also enjoys swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving/instructing, surfing and fishing. Every year he trains to run the Honolulu Marathon and Honolulu Triathlon. In between work, workouts and outdoor activities, Yusuke also enjoys traveling with his wife.
